Acronis provides comprehensive data protection for all Microsoft platforms, including workstations, servers, applications and mobile devices, helping customers, resellers and service providers make the most of Microsoft technology. Using its **Acronis Backup** and **Acronis Backup Cloud** solutions, Acronis can also back up data in Microsoft Azure environments. The new partnership will enable customers and service providers to store their own or their clients' data located in the Azure cloud even more easily. The Azure environment will be available in all future versions of Acronis products as a potential target storage location, alongside storage in Acronis Cloud and with other public cloud providers. Today, Acronis partners and customers can use Azure capacity for data storage, but this requires manual installation and configuration of Acronis Backup Gateway. In response to customer and partner requirements, Acronis and Microsoft have decided to jointly provide native integration of Acronis solutions with Azure services. Service providers will be able to either purchase storage directly from Microsoft, or Acronis will include Azure storage costs in its billing. Native integration of Acronis data protection solutions with the Azure platform will make Azure-based services more attractive and help Microsoft partners increase their revenue. Service providers will be able to extend their Azure service offerings with an easy, fast and reliable Acronis solution featuring AI-powered Acronis Active Protection against ransomware. Together with Acronis technology, they will be able to support more users and generate additional revenue by delivering value-added services to existing clients and using comprehensive data protection as a competitive advantage in the market. The partnership with Microsoft is part of Acronis's comprehensive strategy focused on supporting all platforms and delivering data security, availability, privacy and authentication services in local, cloud and hybrid environments. With full support for more than 20 platforms, native integration with PSA and RMM tools, and growing support for public cloud service providers, Acronis enables service providers to make the most of their existing cloud offerings. “Many of our products already serve clients using Microsoft technologies,” said **John Zanni, President of Acronis.** “With simple, reliable and efficient backup and integrated IT security in the form of ransomware protection, our clients can benefit from comprehensive data protection.
