The customer replaced its original inadequate on-premise system with a cloud solution that provides 100% protection of critical business data, fast recovery capabilities and easy management. The Acronis solution has been operating at the customer site since October 2015. The company uses computers connected to a domain network, with users storing important data in mapped network folders that are backed up. With the deployment of Acronis Backup Cloud, the customer no longer had to worry about the loss of critically important data that could jeopardize business operations and cause significant financial losses. For Armaturka Krnov, which does not have its own IT department, this primarily means leaving backup concerns to the supplier and being able to carry out the entire potential recovery process remotely. “In light of the costs saved in the event of potential data loss, there is no need to discuss the investment made in the Acronis backup solution at all. Even if we never used the service again, we have saved enough for several more decades of using it,” said **Miloš Kostolány, CEO of Armaturka Krnov.** Acronis Backup Cloud also proved to be reliable protection against the consequences of an attack by the feared Cryptolocker virus, which encrypted important files and thereby made vital business data inaccessible. The administrator simply started the recovery process, and within 3.5 hours the entire server was restored and all Armaturka Krnov operations could continue. “Cloud backup solutions are becoming increasingly popular among our customers,” said **Zdeněk Bínek, responsible for sales of Acronis solutions in the Czech and Slovak markets.** “The example of Armaturka Krnov shows that it is possible to reliably back up important data and restore it easily without affecting company operations.
