Since entering the local market in 2002, this program, originally called Acronis True Image, has gradually become the best-selling solution for personal data backup and cybersecurity in the Czech language. Interesting facts about Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office: - The software protects against the four most common threats of digital life: accidental data deletion, cyberattacks, hardware failure, and theft or loss of personal devices. - The program or selected features are included in pre-installed software on PCs or hard drives from a range of manufacturers. - Since 2017, Acronis has gradually added archiving, ransomware protection, vulnerability assessment, antivirus scanning and web protection to the core data backup function. - Today, it is the only integrated complete personal cyber protection solution that provides both data backup and cybersecurity on PCs, Macs and mobile devices. - More than 5.5 million home and professional customers worldwide use Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office. “When we started distributing the then Acronis True Image on the Czech and Slovak markets 20 years ago, awareness of backup was at a very low level,” said **Zdeněk Bínek, Director of ZEBRA SYSTEMS, responsible for the distribution of Acronis solutions**. “Today, I dare say that most regular users and almost all professional users would not dare to operate without some form of backup and data security. I am pleased not only that Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office remains successful after two decades, but also that we have been able to contribute to raising general awareness of the importance of data protection and cybersecurity.” The current version of the product, which has borne the new name Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office since 2021, brings further improvements. These include, above all, the ability to download cloud backups to a local location, enabling fast recovery even without an internet connection. Another is the option of modular installation, where it is not necessary to install the entire program, only selected components. Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office is available in three versions – Essentials, Advanced and Premium – which differ in functionality and cloud storage capacity. Licenses are available for 1 user, 3 users or 5 users, making it possible to cover the cyber protection needs of an entire family, sole proprietorship or small office.
