In addition to new international data centers in Canada, Bhutan and New Zealand, which will complement existing centers in the USA, the UK, Switzerland, France, Germany, Japan, Australia and Singapore, the creation of another 100 smaller local data centers in individual countries, including the Czech Republic, is also planned. “The growth of edge computing worldwide means that more data is being generated and used within enterprise networks,” said **Sergei Beloussov, founder and CEO of Acronis**. “Local data centers will support the efficient deployment of edge computing, especially in rapidly developing markets. This strategy will enable us to provide local, cost-effective cloud services with sufficient throughput and low latency. It demonstrates our commitment to offering cloud services and cyber protection to all partners and users in today’s digital world.” According to [Gartner](https://www.gartner.com/en/newsroom/press-releases/2020-07-23-gartner-forecasts-worldwide-public-cloud-revenue-to-grow-6point3-percent-in-2020), the global market for cloud management and security services will grow by more than 25% by 2022.
