In version 7.8, Acronis Data Cloud brings service providers comprehensive cloud-to-cloud protection for Microsoft Office 365, disaster recovery orchestration, enhanced ransomware protection, and notarization and electronic signatures based on blockchain technology. Among service providers, the Acronis Data Cloud platform is known for its support for native integration with the most popular hosting automation platforms, PSA (Professional Services Automation) systems, and RMM tools for remote monitoring and management. The platform enables service providers to quickly bring new proprietary services to market through their existing client device management infrastructure. With today’s update, Acronis complements the previously announced integrations with **Google Cloud** and **Microsoft Azure Cloud Services**, which are in line with its strategy of protecting all types of data, applications, and systems while providing users with complete flexibility and control over protected data. Using native integration, service providers will be able to send backups to Google Cloud Storage and Microsoft Azure Storage without the need for complex configurations or contract processing. MSP providers can use Google and Azure data centers with just a click under their existing contracts with Acronis. The integration improves partners’ and customers’ ability to choose their preferred storage and provider while simplifying contractual terms for smaller MSP providers. “Everyone needs cyber protection, and we are making it easier to use and sell. We listen to feedback from our partners, which is why we have introduced new capabilities that enable them to meet customer needs more effectively,” said **John Zanni, President of Acronis**. **Innovations and new features** Acronis Data Cloud has become easier to use, more secure, and more efficient for all customers and partners. The latest update brings significant innovations in reliability and performance, as well as in other areas: - **Complete Microsoft Office 365 protection.** Cloud-to-cloud backup for Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint Online. Backups are shared directly between secure Microsoft and Acronis data centers. Service providers can select a specific country and data center location. With Acronis Backup Cloud, users can also search their backups and restore individual files or messages. - **Disaster recovery orchestration.** The new version simplifies and automates complex disaster recovery plans using runbooks. The new runbook functionality makes it easier and faster to restore multiple machines from recovery cloud storage. It ensures that systems are restored in the correct order to preserve interdependent application connections across different machines. - **Enhanced ransomware detection in Acronis Active Protection.** The Acronis Active Protection feature monitors malicious activity, stops suspicious behavior, and automatically restores damaged files.
