The offering will enable Microsoft cloud service providers (CSPs) to easily deliver and manage a flexible range of backup services across physical and virtual environments, supporting a wide range of workloads. By connecting Acronis Backup Cloud to Azure or Azure Stack environments, CSPs gain the ability to offer added value to their current services in the form of comprehensive backup and data protection services. Today, SMBs face new data protection challenges, including a massive growth in data volumes, complex IT environments, digitized business processes, and mobile workers, not to mention increasing cyber threats. In addition, SMBs struggle with data protection across a wide variety of virtual, physical, and mobile environments – 48% of SMBs use both virtual and physical systems, while nearly 60% of companies use mobile devices for work.
