Consumers and remote workers can scan their operating systems and applications for existing vulnerabilities and apply fixes. More than 60% of cyberattacks exploit vulnerabilities for which patches exist but have not been applied. With more than 11,000 registered Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), the ability to quickly identify and eliminate them is a key defense against attacks. Integrating security risk assessment functionality into a personal cyber protection solution, together with advanced anti-malware protection and backup, gives home and professional users the ability to minimize the risk of malware infection. “Over the past five years, ransomware-as-a-service attacks have proliferated, meaning attackers do not need deep technical knowledge—they simply pay for malicious toolkits that exploit vulnerabilities in unpatched software,” said **Sergej Beloussov, founder and CEO of Acronis**. “Users need an easy and effective way to identify and eliminate vulnerabilities so that their system data and backups remain safe.
