The solution simplifies email archive management, enables fast and convenient searching of older mail in the familiar Microsoft Outlook environment, and reduces storage capacity costs. Due to its presence in Central Europe, the 350 users at Démos trade conduct relatively intensive email communication. Around 40 GB of new emails are generated each month and need to be stored. One of the key reasons for acquiring a specialised archiving solution was to ensure that users would no longer have to constantly deal with the size of their mailbox and PST files, and could safely delete anything knowing they would be able to find it later. An important factor in choosing GFI Archiver was its excellent integration with the Microsoft Outlook client system. The system operates fully automatically and currently manages around 1.5 TB of data in approximately 10 million archived emails. It eliminates the consequences of a potential loss of important data as well as their accidental or intentional modification. Apart from configuring archiving and creating several global rules for archived emails, it requires no intervention from administrators. “From an IT administration perspective, our work has become considerably simpler, and thanks to GFI Archiver we now have control over corporate email management,” said **Marek Malohlava, ICT Specialist at Démos trade**. “Users have gained an intuitive tool for searching older mail, allowing them to find the required email much faster. At the same time, the company’s management does not have to worry about losing emails important for the company’s operations.” GFI Archiver is a solution for centralised file and email archiving for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The latest version 12 brings support for the latest Microsoft platforms, including Exchange 2016, Outlook 2016 and Windows 10, as well as enhanced search functionality that delivers faster results for both users and administrators.
