Version 12 introduces centralized monitoring and reporting through a **new web-based console** accessible via secure protocols from any location and device using all major browsers. GFI LanGuard 12 customers with extensive networks will appreciate the **increased scalability**, which has been successfully tested in IT environments with more than 60,000 workstations, laptops and servers. Multiple administrators from different locations can now monitor and manage large IT environments, ensuring that their infrastructure is always up to date and sufficiently protected. The new interface provides a complete overview of the entire network and the current status of software updates and detected vulnerabilities across environments with up to thousands of computers and mobile devices. In response to customer requirements, GFI LanGuard 12 offers the following enhancements: - **Easy remote access** – access from the web user interface via a secure connection to view dashboards, statuses and reports; - **Centralized reporting** – customers with extensive IT infrastructure can install GFI LanGuard at multiple locations and view and aggregate reports from all locations through a single central web console; - **Increased scalability** – the new version has been tested and proven in an environment with more than 60,000 devices; - **User roles and access –** the new web console integrates with Active Directory users for authentication, meaning customers can configure user access at each location through Active Directory; - **Concurrent access** – enables multiple administrators to use the web console at the same time and report in parallel on the status of different parts of the network. “GFI LanGuard 12 improves and simplifies automated IT infrastructure protection and patch management in organizations of any size and with any compliance requirements,” said **Zdeněk Bínek, responsible for sales of GFI Software solutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia**. “It is a key security tool, especially today, when the number of vulnerabilities is increasing and risks are growing due to the ever more intensive use of unsecured mobile devices in enterprise networks.” GFI LanGuard is a solution for automated update management, vulnerability scanning and enterprise network auditing.
