*The new version brings enhancements for multi-server deployment*

**PRAGUE, October 10, 2018** – **[GFI Software](http://www.gfi-software.cz/)****,**a provider of security solutions for enterprise networks, has launched the new version of **GFI MailEssentials 21.4**, a solution for securing mail servers. The new version includes enhancements focused primarily on **using the solution across multiple servers**, providing even more effective protection for the email infrastructure of both small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and larger companies.

Key new features include the ability to edit notification templates from GFI MailEssentials, synchronization of security settings in multi-server deployments, and synchronization of templates in multi-server deployments. Compared to GFI MailEssentials version 21, the new release also includes updates to the anti-spam and antivirus engines. The current version of GFI MailEssentials relies on the Avira, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, Cyren, and Sophos antivirus engines.

“Email is now the main entry point for various virus and ransomware attacks in the networks of small and medium-sized businesses,” said **Zdeněk Bínek, responsible for sales of GFI Software solutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia**. “According to our recent survey, viruses and spam are the biggest issue in ensuring the operational continuity of email infrastructure for 77% of Czech and Slovak IT administrators. Securing email directly at the mail server level makes it possible to filter out the vast majority of unsolicited or infected messages and minimize the consequences of potential incorrect user decisions.”

GFI MailEssentials is a solution that ensures the security of corporate email for SMBs, including powerful anti-spam features, up to 5 antivirus engines, and a scanner for zero-day vulnerabilities. It also includes an advanced content filtering feature that enables incoming, outgoing, and internal emails to be filtered for information such as credit card numbers, both in the email body and its attachments, helping to prevent sensitive data leaks.
