The key new feature is a **new system kernel** that meets the latest security standards and eliminates vulnerabilities in the previous version. Kerio Control 9.4 now also integrates **two-factor authentication (2FA)**, allowing IT administrators to set an optional expiration period for 2FA tokens instead of the previously fixed 30 days. More detailed 2FA settings were among the most requested features and now give IT administrators greater control over the security of their VPN networks, including the ability to require two-factor authentication for every individual VPN login. The new **reverse proxy redirection** feature can seamlessly convert incoming HTTP connections to HTTPS, providing users with more secure access. A typical use case for this feature is when a user visits sites hosted behind the Kerio Control infrastructure.
