According to this survey, the main security incidents include carelessness by users and ransomware, feared by 64% and 55%, respectively, of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Current work trends that enable employees to work from home or while traveling bring companies increased productivity, but on the other hand increase the stress on IT administrators, who must strengthen the protection of enterprise networks. The risk increases especially with the growing use of personal mobile devices for work, unsecured connections on home networks, and the use of public Wi-Fi connections. This can result, for example, in a ransomware infection, as happened [in the recent attack on Office 365](http://www.gfi.com/blog/ransomware-fud-strikes-again-this-time-against-office-365/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TalkTechToMe-All+%28GFI+Blog%29), and in the enterprise network being out of operation for hours or even days, which can have catastrophic consequences for the company's business.
