These are currently among the most threatened by cyber attackers, with almost two-thirds (63%) of organizations experiencing an increase in IT security incidents last year in connection with COVID-19 measures. There are numerous risks associated with working from home: work devices are not protected by a corporate firewall or an integrated threat management (UTM) solution. Other weak points include inexpensive home routers and internet gateways without any security. At home, users also use their personal devices, and some even share them with other family members. Many users also need access to work files located on the corporate infrastructure via a VPN connection.
