They are becoming a complementary part of the comprehensive offerings of Czech and Slovak suppliers specializing in IT security, which are currently addressing increased demand from their customers in connection with higher data protection requirements. For example, **Comtec**, a company providing comprehensive information technology, consulting and service offerings, delivers a broad range of IT solutions, including Kerio products from the very beginning—specifically, Kerio Connect for ensuring and securing business email communications, Kerio Control for securing business networks including a firewall and secure web access, and the Kerio Operator IP telephony solution. Since 2012, it has also supplied Acronis solution products, but the cooperation intensified in 2015 with the launch of Acronis Backup Cloud, which offers service providers a comprehensive, cost-effective and easy-to-manage hybrid solution for backing up and recovering customer data. Comtec has many joint customers using Kerio and Acronis solutions across various industries. The most interesting include the following: - **Dominant Consult s.r.o. –** An accounting and auditing company that has been using Kerio Connect for efficient communications for 10 years. Over the past year, all important documents have been securely encrypted and backed up through the COMTEC Backup service built on Acronis Backup Cloud technology. - **TFP transport for people s.r.o.** – An international transport and forwarding company that has its call center built on the Kerio Operator VoIP solution and its mail server on Kerio Connect. All important data is backed up by the COMTEC Backup service using Acronis Backup Cloud technology. - **Hospital with Polyclinic Nové Mesto nad Váhom –** The hospital relies on Kerio Control as the main firewall for its entire hospital network and on Acronis Backup Cloud for backing up important financial data. “As a supplier of comprehensive products and services, we appreciate that Kerio products do not overlap with Acronis products and services in any way,” said **Daniel Šimo, Managing Director and Partner of Comtec s.r.o.** “On the contrary, we have many customers who need to address data protection comprehensively and also use Kerio tools and cloud backup and data recovery services built on Acronis Backup technology to secure a large part of their IT infrastructure. Both product portfolios complement each other perfectly, address our customers’ needs, and allow us to deploy and administer them simply and efficiently.” Article author: ZEBR.ai editorial team Read on ## More related articles [All articles](https://zebr.ai/en/blog) Contact ## Do you need a solution for yourself or for your client?
