The offering also addresses the requirements of the **NIS 2** **Directive** and enables MSP providers and customers to implement the necessary measures more quickly. The combination of EDR tools with managed MDR services offers comprehensive risk coverage. While EDR provides basic endpoint protection by stopping threats at their source, the tandem with the MDR service adds expert oversight, log collection and retention, and comprehensive network defense. This ensures that no vulnerability remains unchecked, enabling end customers to have complete confidence in the security provided by managed service providers. A multi-layered approach to cybersecurity is more important today than ever before, whether due to the increasing sophistication of attacks or the current requirements for compliance with the NIS 2 Directive. The EDR and MDR package can meet the following requirements: 1. **Incident detection and response**.
