Based on a survey of managed service providers (MSPs) worldwide, the report estimates dynamic growth in the managed services market and an increasing share of cybersecurity services. The managed IT services market is expected to reach a global value of approximately USD 610 billion by the end of 2025, with channel partners accounting for around 98% of this revenue. Today, MSP providers primarily focus on the specializations that bring the greatest value to customers and help them remain competitive: cybersecurity, cloud, artificial intelligence, risk management, compliance, and expertise in vertical industries. Key findings of the MSP Horizons Report: - 59% of MSP respondents expect their total revenue to increase by 20% or more in 2025. Key growth drivers include a focus on endpoints, demand for cybersecurity, and automation. - 90% of respondents expect growth in sales of managed cybersecurity services in 2025, up from 80% in last year's report. - Cybersecurity-related services represent the four most significant segments expected to contribute to managed services revenue over the next three years, with endpoint management at the top of the list. - The most sought-after services in the managed backup and disaster recovery segment are SaaS application backup (53%) and AI-supported backup and recovery (51%). - The most common use cases for generative AI are automation in customer support and assistance with content creation. Only 6% of partners do not use generative AI at all. - On-premises will always have its place, but modern MSP providers prefer the cloud as the infrastructure location for running software. “The central theme of this year's report is cyber resilience, with delivering it being the fastest-growing source of revenue,” said **John Pagliuca, President and CEO of N-able**. “Conversations with MSPs around the world make it clear that the line between managing IT operations and ensuring security is blurring. Successful MSPs differentiate themselves by addressing security throughout the entire lifecycle: from protection and detection to response and recovery.” The **MSP Horizons Report** was conducted from October 2024 to November 2024. The survey gathered feedback from 451 partners across EMEA, North America, APAC, and Latin America. The report summarizes findings from an online survey and qualitative interviews.
