Over 30 years, it grew from a garage in his parents’ house into Slovakia’s largest food wholesaler, and today supplies customers from 20,000 m2 warehouses located in Košice. Over the years, its product range has gradually expanded from coffee and nuts to more than 8,000 active stock items today, which it delivers daily throughout Slovakia as well as to several EU countries and overseas. The company employs 1,500 people, supplies more than 2,700 independent customers, and serves nearly 800 retail stores. Thanks to its broad scope and large volume of information, the company operates a robust ERP solution based on the Oracle database system. Given the large number of business partners and intensive communication, the company was looking for a stable on-premise email solution that would enable full control over its data. The company did not want a cloud solution and therefore required a provider of solutions built for deployment in a local environment.
