The new feature is relevant for organizations currently looking for a virtualization alternative following Broadcom's acquisition of VMware. With Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, MSP providers can now manage backups for VMware, Hyper-V, physical systems, and Proxmox VE from a single console. They can easily perform migrations between platforms, store backups on local disks, in Acronis Cloud, or in the public cloud, and perform granular recovery for LXC containers. The main benefits of the new feature include: - **Reliability:** The agentless backup solution is based on more than 20 years of Acronis experience in data protection. - **Flexibility:** Virtual machines and containers can be backed up to local storage, Acronis Cloud storage, or public cloud storage. - **Versatility:** The solution supports workload migration to/from Proxmox VE. Proxmox VE support is provided through a dedicated plugin/add-on installed together with the standard Linux agent. The solution supports most types of virtual machines and container backend storage.
