The combination of both products enables SMB companies in particular to address current pressing email challenges, such as slow email server response, constantly growing email volumes, complicated searches for older mail, and legal requirements for retaining original business correspondence. According to last year's survey among local users of GFI Software email infrastructure solutions, 32% of IT administrators most frequently deal with searching for lost emails, while 23% face insufficient email storage capacity. Standalone email servers have only limited capabilities for addressing these issues. The combination of both products can be configured very easily by creating a journaling mailbox in Kerio Connect and linking it to the GFI Archiver solution. It then provides SMB companies with higher email server performance, cost-effective storage for emails, faxes, files, and calendar entries, as well as user access to the email archive—from both desktop and mobile devices. “GFI Archiver is also an effective tool for meeting legal requirements to prove the originality of email correspondence,” said **Zdeněk Bínek, responsible for GFI Software sales in the Czech Republic and Slovakia**. “Because it is implemented before the email server, all incoming and outgoing mail is archived in separate storage before it reaches users' mailboxes. This prevents any subsequent manipulation or alteration of the content of stored emails.” Integration with GFI Archiver further enhances the benefits of Kerio Connect, which lead many small and medium-sized companies to prefer it over more robust solutions such as Exchange, namely: - **Deployment and go-live time** – Kerio Connect can be installed and fully configured in less than 1 hour, - **System requirements** – In its minimum configuration, the server running Kerio Connect requires a 64-bit CPU, 2 GB RAM, and 40 GB of disk space. - **Functionality** – Kerio Connect includes all commonly used features in an intuitive user environment, including mobile access and native support for instant messaging. - **Price** – this is one of the key factors for SMB companies, and Kerio Connect is also more advantageous here compared to other standard on-premise solutions. The combination of Kerio Connect and GFI Archiver is easily available through the [GFI Unlimited](http://www.gfi-unlimited.cz/) licensing model, which allows all products in this software library to be used under a single subscription. Other frequently used combinations within GFI Unlimited include Kerio Connect and GFI MailEssentials, anti-spam and antivirus at the email server level. Or the combination of GFI LanGuard and GFI EventsManager, which makes it possible to secure the corporate network against attacks while complying with GDPR requirements for collecting and retaining security audit logs.
