The deployment and management of the new solutions will be handled by **ITplay**, an external provider of comprehensive IT services for UNICEF Czech Republic. Since 2010, UNICEF Czech Republic has been using the Kerio Connect mail server; previously, it used a firewall with an integrated WinRoute Pro 4 mail server, which was the predecessor of the current Kerio Control and Kerio Connect products. In addition to the intention to move the entire Kerio Connect solution to the cloud, another task is to continuously strengthen network security within UNICEF so that it can address current security challenges such as spam, ransomware and potential data theft. Therefore, in cooperation with ITplay, UNICEF Czech Republic decided to take advantage of an offer from GFI Software, which recently introduced the GFI Unlimited licensing model providing access to 12 products from the GFI Software portfolio. In addition to the already deployed Kerio Connect solution, UNICEF will primarily use GFI MailEssentials from this offering, an effective tool against spam and viruses contained in email. A complementary product in the area of email security and management is GFI Archiver, which enables the archiving of all email communications. In the area of enterprise network and data security, UNICEF plans to use GFI LanGuard for vulnerability scanning and automated patch management, Kerio Control for a higher-quality firewall and secure web access, and GFI EndPointSecurity to prevent unauthorized access via removable storage media. The products are planned to be deployed by the end of 2018. “We very much welcome the opportunity to significantly improve the security of UNICEF's IT infrastructure with the help of GFI Unlimited,” said **Jan Ulrich, Chief Technician at ITplay.** “This offering allows us to test all GFI Software products and choose a combination that optimizes their administration while providing maximum protection for UNICEF against cyber threats without the need for any additional costs.” **About UNICEF** In 157 countries around the world, the global organization UNICEF helps hundreds of millions of children gain access to quality healthcare, nutrition, schools, and protection from abuse and exploitation of any kind.
