These include protection against potentially unwanted applications within the EDR/XDR service, the ability to back up and perform disaster recovery to additional environments, and more efficient handling of PST files in email archiving. The key new features in the latest update include: - **Agentless backup to Proxmox VE 9.0** – following the recent announcement of Proxmox environment support, support for Proxmox Virtual Environment 9.0 (in addition to version 8.2+) has been added, enabling the protection of virtual machines and LXC containers through backups to local storage, the Acronis cloud, or public clouds, as well as workload migration in supported Proxmox versions. - **EDR/XDR: Protection against potentially unwanted applications** – Acronis EDR/XDR now includes protection against potentially unwanted applications that may reduce system performance, display intrusive ads, or track user activity for commercial purposes. Once detected, these applications are quarantined or blocked based on corporate policy settings and analyzed in detail. - **Direct backup to IONOS cloud (S3) –** Enables backups to be stored in IONOS storage without additional gateway servers. It protects Windows and Linux systems, virtual machines, disks, and files using granular recovery, including bare-metal recovery. - **DR: Disaster recovery for Nutanix AHV virtual machines –** In the event of an outage, it fails over Nutanix workloads using Acronis Disaster Recovery and restores them to a local environment – using the central Acronis console, runbooks, and networks. - **PST file import** – Simplifies migration by importing email PST files in the Acronis Email Archiving service for Microsoft 365. Partners can import PST files stored locally or in OneDrive directly into the archive, ensuring that no historical data is lost.
