Migration to the cloud system was handled by **Algorit**, an Acronis Gold Partner, which also provides continuous management and security for the IT infrastructure. Wittmann Battenfeld CZ, part of the Austrian WITTMANN Group, sells and services machinery for the plastics industry, including injection molding machines, control systems, production lines, and more. With the help of the **Advanced Backup** package, the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud solution backs up primarily data related to locally developed projects to a secure cloud according to the 3-2-1 rule. If individual documents are lost, they can be immediately restored from a local backup. Should a serious loss of local data or backups occur, a cloud backup is still available. Compared to the original backup system, data backup and recovery in the Acronis environment are incomparably faster, eliminating the impact of potential operational outages. Historically, the company used the Windows Backup solution, but in 2014 it switched to the local Acronis Backup system.
