Data backup and endpoint protection services built on the Acronis cloud platform provide the company with resilience against cyber risks and potential operational outages. The solution is provided by **IT AWACS SOLUTION**, an Acronis partner in the Czech Republic. Within the **Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud** platform, which combines backup and cyber protection in a single solution, the customer uses the **Advanced Security & EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)** module for advanced endpoint protection against modern threats and **Advanced** **Backup** for reliable data backup. Thanks to this combination, the company has a comprehensive tool for prevention, detection, and recovery in the event of a cyber incident, all managed from a single console. By deploying the Acronis platform, the customer achieved a significant increase in its level of cyber security thanks to advanced features such as EDR, behavioral analysis, and proactive protection against ransomware attacks. Another benefit is the consolidation of management into a single central console, which has simplified operations, made monitoring of all devices clearer, and reduced the risk of human error. Finally, it enables secure offsite backup, which significantly increases the company's resilience to physical infrastructure damage, accidents, or targeted cyberattacks, while also helping meet business continuity requirements and legislative standards such as NIS2. In the past, the customer faced several major issues in the area of backup and security. Attempts at offsite backup often failed due to human factors, resulting in all backups ultimately being stored only on a local server. Another weak point was endpoint security – devices were protected only by a standard antivirus solution based on known definitions, without advanced detection of modern threats, which significantly reduced the overall level of protection of the corporate environment. The use of the original tools without an appropriate strategy, regular checks, and supplementary measures was not sufficient to cover all security risks. “Today, it is essential to protect business not only physically, but also to a great extent in the IT environment,” said **Ing. Dušan Komenda, Managing Director of Wolko-plast.** “An outage of information systems or data loss significantly disrupts our company's manufacturing and business processes. Every day, we encounter information in the media about cyberattacks, which prompted us to reassess our existing level of security. I therefore welcomed the introduction of more advanced protection for endpoints and servers, as well as strengthened backup security for all important data and systems.” **About IT AWACS SOLUTION** IT AWACS SOLUTION s.r.o. is a reputable provider of cybersecurity services with many years of experience and ISO 27001 certification for cybersecurity.
