Currently, 76% of MSP partners see the greatest potential in cyber protection services **in backup and disaster recovery**. In addition to traditional IT service providers transitioning to managed service provision (MSP), another trend is the expansion of the MSP service portfolio. Alongside remote monitoring and management (RMM), the complete service package now also includes cybersecurity and data protection services. There is currently high demand for data protection in the SMB segment, which N-able has responded to by offering **Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)** as part of its **Cove Data Protection** solution. Key survey findings: - One of the important benefits of MSP tools is the ability to automate routine tasks: for 35% of MSP providers, recurring tasks account for up to 25% of their time; for 55%, 26–50% of their time; and for 10%, even more than half of their working time. - 57% of the IT partners surveyed offer or plan to offer primarily RMM services, 48% cybersecurity services, and 52% data protection services, while 86% want to offer a complete package of MSP services. - In the cybersecurity and data protection services segment, 76% of MSP providers see the greatest potential in backup/DR/DLP (data loss prevention), 48% in vulnerability scanning/patching services, and 29% in MDR (managed detection and response) services. The newly launched **Cove DRaaS** service enables organizations to quickly restore operations after cyber incidents and server outages—without the costs, complexity, and risks associated with building and managing their own DR environments.
