# Anti-Malware

El antimalware es un software de protección que protege contra ataques de [malware](https://www.acronis.cz/kb/malware/) y sus efectos no deseados.

**Protección antivirus y antimalware en Acronis Cyber Protect**

El módulo [Protección antivirus y antimalware](https://www.acronis.cz/web-help/Acronis_Cyber_Protect_15/index.html#52382.html) permite proteger equipos con Windows y macOS contra el malware más reciente. Tenga en cuenta que la función Active Protection, que forma parte de la protección antimalware, no es compatible con equipos macOS.

El servicio Acronis Cyber Protect es compatible y está registrado en el Centro de seguridad de Windows.

Si, en el momento de utilizar el módulo Protección antivirus y antimalware, su equipo ya está protegido por una solución antivirus de otro fabricante, el sistema generará una advertencia y detendrá la protección en tiempo real para evitar posibles problemas de compatibilidad y rendimiento. Si desea habilitar todas las funciones de protección antivirus y antimalware de Acronis Cyber Protect, deberá deshabilitar o desinstalar el programa antivirus de terceros.
