Acronis announced that NOVÁ MOSILANA uses Acronis Backup to back up and recover its business data, both in the on-premise version and in the cloud. The solution was deployed by Aconte, an Acronis partner in the Czech Republic, which continues to manage the solution through outsourcing.
The Acronis solution has simplified and automated backup processes so that it requires no intervention and operates with complete reliability. The solution also guarantees faster data recovery compared to the previous system. Storing business data in two locations, physically at the company and in the cloud, gives NOVÁ MOSILANA the assurance that even in the event of the worst conceivable disaster, it will always have at least one copy of its data available.
Previously, NOVÁ MOSILANA used a tape backup solution, which was somewhat inconvenient because it required frequent tape replacement and storage, more complicated data recovery, etc. Now the company has a backup solution in which one on-premise part of Acronis Backup serves as local backup across two storage locations within the company, while the other provides backup to Acronis cloud storage. With the help of Acronis Backup, the company's data infrastructure stored on approximately 60 VMware virtual machines is backed up.
