Acronis recognized its top partners at its annual meeting, thanks to whom the company enjoyed another successful year last year. This year, the priorities for Czech and Slovak businesses will primarily be the purchase of backup solutions, the development of cloud technologies, and active protection against ransomware attacks.
Acronis recognized the following partners for 2016:
ALGORIT Czech s.r.o. became Partner of the Year 2016.
MSP Partner of the Year 2016 – TaNET West s.r.o.
Most Active Partner of the Year 2016 – ABB s.r.o.
Based on a survey conducted among Acronis resellers, the company expects the following trends in the local market this year:
- Over the next 12 months, the greatest number of resellers expect demand for data backup solutions and file sharing and synchronization solutions;
- Although the vast majority of customers (88%) still prefer backup to local storage, the cloud will be among the technologies with the greatest potential benefits;
- The riskiest trends this year primarily include ransomware threats and social networks;
- The greatest challenges in data sharing and synchronization include fragmented information and its low level of security.
“For Acronis, 2016 saw the arrival of new technologies and products, including the launch of the Acronis Backup 12 enterprise backup solution and Acronis True Image 2017 for personal backup,” said Zdeněk Bínek, responsible for sales of Acronis solutions in the Czech and Slovak markets. “This year, we will continue introducing new technologies that will help our partners sell our products and services and support their efforts to continue delivering the fastest, most comprehensive, and most user-friendly data protection products to their customers.”
