As a result of virtualizing its information system, the company needed to address the backup of virtual machines running on the VMware platform. After testing a product from Acronis and comparing it with the costs of the original solution, the customer decided to deploy Acronis Backup Advanced. In addition to more favorable acquisition costs, Lunys expects the Acronis Backup Advanced solution to provide more efficient backup archiving thanks to deduplication technology, which will also save capacity in NAS storage. In addition, the customer will use more advanced features, such as restoring virtual machines to a backup server after archiving is completed, which the previous backup system did not allow.
