Slovak IT integrator JKC has been a long-standing supplier of Kerio technologies. With growing pressure on cybersecurity, it sought a top-tier solution that would enable it to offer managed services (MSP) to its customers, primarily in the public sector, which is being forced to improve its protection by increasingly sophisticated attacks and tightening regulations.

JKC built its offering on the N-able portfolio from ZEBRA SYSTEMS: N-sight for IT infrastructure monitoring, Cove Data Protection for backup as a service, N-able EDR (SentinelOne) and MDR (Adlumin) for cybersecurity. For a public administration customer, it combines these with GFI KerioConnect, KerioControl, the AST SIEM tool, and Impossible Cloud storage.

The N-able portfolio became the foundation of JKC's transition to a certified managed services model, and Cove now backs up data for a number of Slovak organizations. For its system integration capabilities, JKC received the “Best Integrator” award for 2024 from ZEBRA SYSTEMS and the international Customer Success Champion 2025 award from GFI.

As customers migrated to the cloud, the volume of data stored outside their environments grew rapidly. The pricing model of the existing Wasabi storage proved to be costly and difficult to predict for storing and retaining regular backups: costs could not be transparently allocated to individual end customers, and subscription management required manual work.

After testing, the company switched to the European S3-compatible Impossible Cloud storage, which ZEBRA SYSTEMS introduced to the Czech market at the beginning of 2025. The partner account records individual customers and their buckets separately at the access level, enabling each customer's data to be billed precisely.
