Although 2020 was very challenging for most people and organizations, for us it was one of the best years – at least in terms of the number of awards received. Therefore, on the last day of the year, we would like to thank everyone who helped us achieve this: customers, partners, employees, and suppliers of cutting-edge cyber protection technologies.
ZEBRA SYSTEMS achieved great success at the beginning of the year when it was included in this year's edition of the FT 1000, i.e. the thousand fastest-growing European companies, published by the prestigious Financial Times magazine in cooperation with analytics company Statista. This year's edition tracks growth between 2015 and 2018, during which ZEBRA SYSTEMS achieved a total revenue increase of more than 180%, representing an average annual growth rate of 41.1%. The company joined this select group alongside 8 other Czech companies, including Kiwi.com.
We were also successful at the local level: we became the most socially responsible company in the Moravian-Silesian Region. And what did we earn the Vodafone Responsible Company of the Year 2020 award for? “Among other socially beneficial activities, they support the University Hospital in Ostrava and the charitable football tournament Sport Hradec Cup – a charity tournament – in Hradec Králové.”
At the end of the year, we received another interesting international award: the Corporate Vision magazine's Small Business Award in the Best Data Protection Products Supplier category in Central Europe.
From GFI Software, we received the award for the most creative marketing in 2020 as well. In particular, for using social and traditional media to promote the GFI Unlimited licensing model to partners and customers.
We would like to highlight two awards from traditional media. Zebra systems became the winner of the Case Study of the Year 2020 competition organized by CIO Business World magazine – the award for financial efficiency was won by a solution project at the Hospital and Polyclinic in Nové Mesto nad Váhom, implemented by our partner COMTEC. And Acronis Cyber Protect 15 became the winner of the IT Product of the Year 2020 competition organized by Computerworld magazine.
