Italian star club FC Internazionale Milano has entered into a multi-year partnership – the Official Cyber Protection Partnership – with Acronis. The press conference held on this occasion at the Singapore headquarters of the global leader in cyber protection was attended by Milan team captain Samir Handanovic, goalkeeper Tommaso Berni and Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello.
The Italian giant among global and European football clubs was founded in 1908. The club's list of historic achievements includes 18 titles in Italy's top league, seven Coppa Italia victories, two Intercontinental Cups and, last but not least, one FIFA Club World Cup title.
The collaboration between these two brands, standing at the very top of their respective fields, is just the latest example illustrating the growing importance of data and its protection in a globally competitive environment.
A new era of cyber security
“Although Inter has a tradition of more than a century, it fully embraces modern innovation, especially in the area of cyber protection. Inter's vision for the future is similar to ours. Inter Milan has thus joined a rapidly growing portfolio of elite sports teams choosing Acronis as their technology partner.
