The MOGULS SKIING team will use Acronis Cyber Files Cloud for secure file sharing
PRAGUE, March 15, 2021 – Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection solutions, has entered into a partnership
with the MOGULS SKIING discipline and its national team in mogul skiing, which is part of the Czech Ski Association. As part of the cooperation, the team competing in Czech, European and world events will use the Acronis Cyber Files Cloud solution, which enables the secure and convenient sharing of all digital materials created during training and competitions. The partnership will include the presentation of the Acronis logo on national team apparel, materials and other marketing media.
“The use of modern information technologies is becoming a standard and an important competitive advantage in our sport – timely and high-quality information is one of the key prerequisites for success,” said Daniel Honzig, team leader of the MOGULS SKIING discipline. “Our sporting activities generate a large amount of videos, photographs, texts and other materials, the loss or unavailability of which would have a negative impact on the team's operation and results. That is why we welcome this technology partnership with Acronis, which will ensure secure access to data anytime and from anywhere, allowing us to focus fully on sporting matters.”
Acronis has long been committed to supporting sport. Sports clubs with which Acronis has recently established official technology partnerships include football teams Arsenal FC, FC Liverpool, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Ajax Amsterdam. In Formula 1, Acronis has a long-standing partnership with the Williams team; more are available at https://acronis.sport. In addition, in February Acronis announced the TeamUp Program initiative, enabling MSP partners to use the Acronis brand for marketing cooperation with sports teams.
“In freestyle skiing, winners and losers are often decided by hundredths of a second, and the same applies in the field of cybersecurity,” said Štěpán Bínek, responsible for sales of Acronis cloud solutions at ZEBRA SYSTEMS. “If you do not have tools that enable you to reliably defend against cyberattacks, quickly restore operations or gain immediate access to important information, your organization will also end up among the losers. That is why we see great potential in partnering with freestyle skiers for mutual cooperation leading to better sporting results and more effective security tools.”
Acronis Cyber Files Cloud is a data synchronization and sharing and file access solution that enables service providers to offer customers a simple, comprehensive and secure collaboration environment.
