Acronis, a global leader in cybersecurity and hybrid cloud solutions, has announced an official partnership with the NIO racing team in the ABB FIA Formula E series, a competition for single-seater cars powered exclusively by electricity. From the fifth season, which begins on 15 December in Saudi Arabia, Acronis will be a partner both on the racetrack and as a provider of a complete cyber protection solution including backup, disaster recovery and file sharing.
Acronis will also use artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which will help transform predictive analytics processes within the NIO team environment, enabling greater effort and proactivity in dealing with unexpected events during races.
Thanks to software that enables users to be protected against existing and future cyber threats, NIO personnel will be ready to collaborate from anywhere in the world, share ideas and innovations, and securely store their data not only through backup but also through comprehensive protection.
