Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud strengthens corporate email protection

The latest innovations in the award-winning Acronis MSP platform primarily improve protection against attacks on corporate email

PRAGUE, March 8, 2023 – Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection solutions, has strengthened corporate email protection in the latest update of its MSP platform Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud. The Advanced Email Security package now includes an enhanced central dashboard for more effective decision-making, outbound email scanning, clearer management of blocked files, and a range of other innovations.

“According to the latest Acronis Cyberthreats Report from the end of last year, phishing emails are responsible for the largest number of cyberattacks, accounting for 76% of all email attacks,” said Štěpán Bínek, Cloud Solutions Sales Manager for Acronis at ZEBRA SYSTEMS. “Other data also confirms that hackers are intensifying their attacks on corporate email users. That is why Acronis is enhancing its Advanced Email Security package with additional security layers that will enable MSP service providers to reduce the risk of attacks for their customers.”

The key updates within Advanced Email Security include:

• Outbound mail scanning in Microsoft 365. Reduces the risk of reputational damage by scanning and eliminating malicious outbound emails from corporate mailboxes. As a result, incoming mail protection has also been enhanced through more accurate analysis of communication with external entities.
• More detailed insights with an enhanced dashboard. With new reports and widgets in the central dashboard, administrators have more accurate information available for decision-making and more effective customer protection.
• Blocked file management. Enables the rapid creation of company rules for handling files in incoming mail, tailored precisely to a specific customer, and adding them to a blocklist or allowlist.
• Scanning history. Enables tracking the history of incident detection throughout the entire scanning lifecycle, making the whole process more efficient and shorter, ultimately increasing the level of security.
• Faster provisioning with API scanning for Microsoft 365. Reduces the cost of delivering MSP email security services in the Microsoft 365 environment through more flexible scalability and faster, easier provisioning.
