The new version of the award-winning cybersecurity and data protection tool offers a wide range of purchasing options, including a subscription or perpetual license
PRAGUE, August 23, 2024 – Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection solutions, introduces the new version of Acronis True Image, an integrated backup, recovery, and cybersecurity solution for personal use, to the Czech and Slovak markets. In addition to returning to its original name, the new version brings further enhancements in data protection, anti-malware protection, and product purchasing options.
The key new features include:
- Faster cloud backup – new technology enables the use of multi-streaming to increase the speed of incremental cloud backups by an average of 15%
- More reliable malware protection – enhanced anti-malware protection offering detection of previously undetected threats
- Perpetual license – in addition to a subscription license, customers can also purchase a perpetual license valid for the lifetime of their PC or Mac.
The latest update also further improves the product's security features in real-time protection, cryptojacking prevention, vulnerability assessment, and antivirus scanning – all supported by Acronis's leading security technologies.
“Last year saw a 75% increase in attacks using artificial intelligence. Hackers use AI and public clouds to personalize and automate attacks, enabling them to target and cause damage more easily and cheaply in increasingly sophisticated ways, including to home users and small businesses,” said Aleš Hok, Sales Director at ZEBRA SYSTEMS, distributor of Acronis solutions. “The new Acronis True Image combines reliable backup and AI-based security, providing complete protection for households and home offices through a unified, user-friendly tool. The integration of both functions ensures there are no gaps in cyber protection.”
Acronis True Image is a recognized solution designed specifically for home and office users and trusted by more than 5.5 million users worldwide to protect their most sensitive data. Every month, Acronis blocks malware attacks faced by more than 20% of users with an active subscription. In the first half of 2024 alone, Acronis True Image stopped approximately 12,000 ransomware attacks. It is available for both Windows and macOS operating systems, and customers can protect up to five computers under a single subscription, as well as an unlimited number of mobile devices and tablets. Popular long-standing features of the Acronis True Image solution include disk cloning and remote management.
