Acronis, a global leader in hybrid cloud data protection solutions, today launched Acronis True Image 2017, the latest version of its personal backup software, on the Czech market. The 2017 version provides the most comprehensive personal data protection on the market. Acronis True Image 2017 combines the option of local and cloud backup of full computer images with new wireless backup of mobile devices to a local Windows PC or secure Acronis Cloud storage. The new version includes support for an unlimited number of mobile devices and the option to back up user data from Facebook.
“Every user’s personal data is increasingly located on mobile devices and social networks,” said Serguei Beloussov, founder and CEO of Acronis. “Acronis True Image 2017 protects all data regardless of its location and offers the fastest and easiest backup on the market.”
Acronis True Image technology provides the fastest full computer image backup and recovery software for personal use1:
- Three to six times faster on Windows computers than competing backup and recovery products using an external USB 3.0 device
- 30% faster than Apple Time Machine on Apple computers
- 60% faster than the previous version of Acronis True Image in common scenarios
As a global partner of Scuderia Toro Rosso, a Formula 1 team, Acronis tests its technologies in an environment that is the most technologically demanding sporting discipline. “Instant access to an enormous amount of data is an essential requirement that must be met for our team to succeed,” said Franz Tost, Team Principal of Scuderia Toro Rosso. “If we lose important data for even a few seconds, the race is lost. That is why we rely on Acronis, which provides the most comprehensive backup solution on the market.”
With fast, easy and comprehensive data protection, Acronis True Image 2017 brings more than 50 innovations, including:
- Wireless backup of mobile devices to Windows computers – Back up an unlimited number of iPhone, iPad and Android devices to a personal computer at the speed enabled by the local Wi-Fi network. Restore complete content to the same or another device, even if it is just a single photo or contact.
- Remote backup management – Enables protection of all computers in the family even when its members are located elsewhere – by monitoring the backup status of any of their computers or mobile devices in real time using a user-friendly online console.
- Incremental Facebook account backup – Automatically backs up all content from a user’s Facebook account, including photos, videos, contacts, comments and likes. Users are thus protected against accidental deletion, hacker attacks, application errors or social network outages that may erase past memories.
- Archiving to the cloud or external storage – Allows you to free up disk space by moving large or rarely used files from a Windows or Apple computer to an external drive, NAS device, network share or Acronis Cloud storage. Archived content can be accessed through File Explorer, Finder or a web browser.
- Enhanced NAS – Automatically detects NAS devices on the local network, preconfigures them for backup storage and automatically switches over in the event of temporary unavailability.
Acronis True Image 2017 has a range of other new features, such as searching local and cloud backups, archive encryption, options for adding comments to backups, Windows Explorer integration, a redesigned user interface on iOS and Android devices, and more.
“Acronis True Image has long been the best-selling backup solution available in the Czech language,” said Zdeněk Bínek, responsible for sales of Acronis solutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. “The main reasons for the popularity of this solution in the Czech Republic have always been its speed, ease of use and full disk image backup capability. The new 2017 version brings Czech users and smaller businesses a number of additional innovations that respond to the latest trends in digital life, as well as further reasons to rely on Acronis for data backup and recovery.”
