In September, we celebrated 30 years of our existence. We are celebrating our anniversary at full strength, expecting the best results in our history for 2023, and as the newly crowned Best Value-Added Distributor (VAD) of the Year 2022 in the Czech Republic. The anniversary also includes a rebranding of the website available at www.zebra.cz.
ZEBRA SYSTEMS was founded in 1993 and in the 1990s focused primarily on developing its own software for healthcare, as well as multimedia and e-learning software. At the turn of the millennium, it began distributing software solutions for data protection and cybersecurity, with Acronis becoming its first distributed vendor in 2003. GFI Software, Kerio, N-able, Cloudflare, and AST were subsequently added, and today we consistently rank among the top 3 VAD distributors in the Czech Republic. This year, we even won 1st place as VAD Distributor of the Year 2022 in the Channelworld Awards rankings.
“If I were to answer the question of which period over the past 30 years has been the best for our company, it would definitely be the present,” said Zdeněk Bínek, founder and director of ZEBRA SYSTEMS. “This is probably due to how critical IT infrastructure has become to business operations over the course of several years and the importance organizations now place on cybersecurity. As a result, our turnover has multiplied since 2015, and we expect further growth in the future. It is certainly appropriate to add that we would never have achieved this success without the support of our partners, resellers, and MSP providers.”
In 2020, we ranked in the prestigious list of Europe’s 1,000 fastest-growing companies organized by the Financial Times magazine. In the same year, we expanded our geographical reach into the Southeast Europe region, where we supply our partners in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and other countries.
