Czech Freestyle Mogul Team is the national freestyle skiing team competing in the Single Moguls and Dual Moguls skiing disciplines, i.e. mogul skiing, at Czech, European and world competitions. The team, which is part of the Czech Ski Association, is on the road for most of the year during the three main phases of the season: summer preparation, on-snow training and the competitions themselves. This places high demands on the acquisition and management of training and competition data, as well as on the creation and publication of information for presentation purposes.
Video equipment is used throughout all three phases, most often static and GoPro video cameras to record individual runs. These are then analysed and evaluated, either directly on the slope or at the end of the day, with the aim of achieving the best possible performance during competitions. In addition to filming training and competition runs, the team also engages in promotional activities that support the team's marketing promotion to the public, in the media and on social networks, as well as cooperation with team sponsors. This results in a wide range of visual materials, such as photographs, videos, clips, TV programmes, etc. All the visual materials and recordings created in this way need to be quickly available anywhere, while being stored in a secure location. Given the high volumes of stored data, the team was looking for a reliable solution.
