Network and critical application management is now faster, more efficient and more reliable

PRAGUE, 29 October 2019 – GFI Software, a provider of security solutions for enterprise networks, has introduced a hardware upgrade for the Exinda Network Orchestrator 4062, a solution for network traffic management and application prioritization that delivers greater memory and storage capacity to improve device performance while reducing power consumption. Version 4062v2 responds to the growing demands of network and application managers who use the original 4062 version in their day-to-day work.

Exinda Network Orchestrator 4062v2 includes a range of enhancements, including:

  • 16 GB of installed RAM, 4 times more than in the original 4062 model, making device operation much faster
  • With 1 TB of SSD data storage, the new model not only delivers triple the original capacity for storing, for example, Microsoft updates, but also higher performance compared to traditional hard drives, resulting in smooth internet traffic and more satisfied users.
  • Up to six times lower power consumption and therefore lower cooling requirements for the entire device compared to the original model
  • A significant reduction in the risk of hardware failure, which is now almost five times less likely than with the 4062 model, also resulting in less frequent disk replacement.

The Exinda Network Orchestrator 4062v2 is primarily designed for organizations such as financial institutions, schools and hospitals that require sufficient network performance and the highest possible availability of key applications. Innovations in the new model therefore focused primarily on ensuring the operation of critical applications and delivering the best possible user experience.

“The growing volume of applications and data is also reflected in more intensive traffic on the networks of businesses and organizations,” said Zdeněk Bínek, responsible for GFI Software sales in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. “Networks are becoming more complex and users require greater flexibility to complete tasks more efficiently. In this situation, the enhanced Exinda Network Orchestrator 4062 model arrives with significantly higher performance, speed and reliability, enabling even more effective management of network traffic and ensuring the availability of critical applications.”
