GFI Archiver now with mobile device support

PRAGUE, August 14, 2019 – GFI Software,a provider of security solutions for enterprise networks, has introduced mobile device support in the latest version of its GFI Archiver 14.2 file and email archiving solution. The ability to work quickly and clearly with the email archive makes activities more efficient, especially for employees on the go, and gives IT administrators the ability to respond to user needs anywhere and at any time.

Access from a mobile device, whether a smartphone or tablet, offers fast and convenient searching of older email messages to employees who are away from their personal computers. In addition, users gain the same full functionality as when working on a personal computer, while benefiting from a clear, responsive environment. It thus provides access to all GFI Archiver features, including the MailInsights reporting module.

“According to our survey last year, more than half of users already use mobile devices as their primary means of accessing corporate email,” said Zdeněk Bínek, responsible for sales of GFI Software solutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. “It is therefore logical that GFI Software decided to provide modern support for mobile devices in the area of access to archived emails. This will simplify work for most users, for whom the email repository is often the primary source of company information.”
