A wide range of public and commercial organizations can now make their online presence more engaging and enrich it with interactive communication with a digitally created historical figure

PRAGUE, August 6, 2026 – GFI Software, a provider of enterprise network security solutions, announced that MyPersonas, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based tool for generating real-time answers to customer questions, makes it possible to digitally clone not only real people, but also historical figures. This opens up major opportunities for organizations in virtually every industry to make their online presence more engaging. With MyPersonas, they can offer users interaction with interesting personalities, not only living ones, but also figures from the distant or recent past.

As part of an experiment with the MyPersonas tool, ZEBRA SYSTEMS created an unofficial digital clone of František Ignác Halaška, a prominent mathematician, physicist and astronomer from Budišov nad Budišovkou. Based on a period portrait, ZEBRA SYSTEMS created a speaking video and instructed the persona to use slightly archaic Czech. Instead of a chatbot, the result is a guide who takes visitors around the town where he was born in his own voice. The digital František Ignác Halaška can be tried at budisov.mypersonas.ai

“We simply started playing with the MyPersonas tool. We looked for historical figures no longer subject to copyright and considered how they could tell their own story to today’s visitor,” said Marek Prorok, VR and AI Technology Specialist at ZEBRA SYSTEMS. “The result surprised us very positively, and we see enormous potential in it for a wide range of areas.”

Some ideas include:

  • Artists who contributed to the renown of a particular city (e.g., Leoš Janáček in Ostrava)
  • Scientists or experts who popularized a specific scientific institution
  • Architects and engineers who participated in the implementation of an important construction project
  • Inventors and technicians who contributed to the industrial development of a region
  • Statesmen and local politicians who elevated a city or municipality or otherwise made it famous
  • Entrepreneurs who founded and developed significant companies in the past
  • Athletes who achieved exceptional success

Instead of a traditional information board or touchscreen, visitors can now simply have a conversation with a person connected to a particular location – at least through their digital persona. And that is not all. While information on a board or kiosk remains in place, a conversation with a digital persona can continue on the way home or in the evening from a mobile phone. This is one of the competitive advantages of the MyPersonas solution.

“A major advantage of MyPersonas technology is that it is built exclusively on the organization’s knowledge base. If it encounters something it cannot answer with certainty, it does not guess or hallucinate, as can sometimes happen with public AI tools, but can refer users to official contacts. In addition, the digital clone provides answers in nearly 170 languages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The result is an engaging presentation of the topic that attracts greater attention,” adds Marek Prorok.
