Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, has announced a long-term partnership with Liverpool Football Club in the area of cyber-protected backup and data storage.
The partnership will provide Liverpool FC with innovative Acronis backup and cloud solution technologies for comprehensive protection of data, applications and systems. As part of the partnership, Acronis will provide all the capacity needed to ensure the five vectors of cyber protection – safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity and security (SAPAS) – enabling the effective management of the club's IT infrastructure.
The partnership was concluded in the presence of Liverpool Football Club and Acronis top management, namely Enrico Tizzano, Senior Vice President of Technology and Transformation at Liverpool FC, Sergej Beloussov, founder and CEO of Acronis, and Ian Rush, a Liverpool FC football legend.
