A new identity protection tool detects and stops attacks aimed at infiltrating organizations
PRAGUE, April 9, 2025 – ZEBRA SYSTEMS, the distributor of N-able solutions in the Czech and Slovak markets, announced that N-able has introduced Breach Prevention for Microsoft 365, a tool from Adlumin, acquired in a recent acquisition. The identity protection tool for Microsoft 365 environments can quickly identify unusual activity, automatically stop attacks at their earliest stage, and protect data from unauthorized access.
Adlumin technology focuses on identity protection using Microsoft 365 telemetry. Machine learning models are used to establish baselines for each user account. When a user deviates from expected behavior, the intelligent tool responds in real time and neutralizes threats according to their severity to keep the environment secure.
Adlumin Breach Prevention complements N-able's existing solutions that help provide comprehensive management, security, and recovery for Microsoft 365, including:
- Complete Microsoft 365 backup: Helps ensure business continuity and data resilience through Microsoft 365 backup and recovery, enabling operations to continue even in the event of an outage.
- Advanced Windows 365 management: Management of Microsoft users, Microsoft Azure resources, and Microsoft Intune from a single console – including Windows 365 management.
- Seamless Microsoft 365 and Entra ID management: Continuously monitor security scores and risky user assessments, helping maintain robust security.
- Improved Microsoft 365 email security: protection against phishing, spam, viruses, ransomware, social engineering, and other email-borne threats.
Mike Adler, Chief Technology and Product Officer at N-able, said: “A unified platform is more than just integrating tools – it is about creating an ecosystem where solutions work together harmoniously to create a secure and reliable environment. Through these ongoing innovations and strategic investments, IT providers gain the tools they need to prevent breaches, protect critical data, and streamline Microsoft 365 management. This approach delivers stronger organizational cyber resilience – reducing operational silos and streamlining workflows through a security-first model designed for Microsoft Cloud.”
Adlumin technology, a provider of an enterprise-grade security operations platform, was acquired by N-able at the end of last year. The acquisition followed the existing partnership between Adlumin and N-able, which focused on extended detection and response (XDR) capabilities and managed detection and response (MDR) services.
