Through integration with Microsoft 365, users of SolarWinds RMM and
N-central solutions will gain a unified view of the management and protection of customer devices
PRAGUE, August 11, 2020 – SolarWinds MSP, a leading provider of IT solutions for service providers, announced a collaboration with Microsoft, resulting in the integration of Microsoft 365 services with SolarWinds N-central and SolarWinds RMM solutions. This integration will provide the ability to monitor devices managed by Microsoft Intune from the central SolarWinds MSP solution console, enabling a unified view of managed devices, expanded management capabilities, and powerful reporting.
As more organizations are expected to make use of working from home in the long term and more devices are managed by managed service providers (MSPs), the demands for a central view of all monitored devices are also increasing. The integration, which will be available later this year, will enable partners using the Microsoft 365 platform to monitor devices managed in Microsoft Intune through SolarWinds N-central and SolarWinds RMM solutions. This means that all customer devices can be managed from a single location – with the same configuration, the same alerting rules, enhanced data protection, and more efficient management and monitoring.
“Nearly 90% of our partners’ workstations run on the Microsoft operating system, and Microsoft 365 is the most widely used office suite,” said Mav Turner, Vice President of Product at SolarWinds MSP. “The ability to monitor and support devices managed by Microsoft Intune directly from the N-central or RMM console will offer our partners significant productivity gains and the ability to provide more comprehensive services and protection for a wide range of customer devices.”
“SMB companies, especially during this period, need to enable their employees to work securely from anywhere and on any device. Microsoft 365 includes the Office suite and collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams with advanced security and device management features. We are collaborating with SolarWinds as a leader in the MSP software market to simplify device management and security capabilities for MSP providers using Microsoft 365 services,” said Nathalie Irvine, General Manager of Microsoft 365.
Since May 1, 2020, the distributor of SolarWinds MSP products on the Czech and Slovak markets has been ZEBRA SYTEMS. Its offered managed services platforms from the SolarWinds MSP portfolio primarily include SolarWinds Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), a centralized suite of tools for management and remote monitoring with cloud management, particularly for smaller and emerging MSP providers. SolarWinds N-central is intended for larger, established MSP organizations.
