Data center

A data center (Data Centre) is a space (a room, floor, or entire building) intended for the continuous operation of computer servers and other information technologies. This space is professionally designed and managed to ensure data security—especially against natural disasters and access by unauthorized users.

Data center:

  • Private – provides services for a specific owner—for example, a bank that arranges its own data center and operates its own applications or services
  • Public – includes the rental of part of the hardware and computing infrastructure in the form of space for running virtual servers

Acronis products offer the option to select a data center for the fastest connection or due to legal requirements regarding the physical location of data.

  • The site does not work without them: bot protection for forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) and remembering this choice in your browser.
