MOKATE is a family-owned company headquartered in Poland, where it produces instant products and teas. More than 250 employees work in the Czech Republic, where coffee is roasted and wafers, biscuits, sponge cakes, and gingerbread are produced. The company sells its own brands and manufactures a large share of private-label products for retail chains. The entire MOKATE Group employs approximately 2,500 people.
The company backed up only data within the local network connected to its enterprise information system and electronic document exchange. The backup process was not very reliable, and if key servers running the information system were to fail, the company would not be able to produce a single product from an accounting perspective. It therefore decided to switch to a more powerful solution.
