The award-winning MSP software in the Czech Republic and Slovakia offers additional services essential for customer protection

PRAGUE, September 17, 2024 – Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection solutions, has added a range of new features to its MSP platform Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, including the Acronis Copilot AI assistant, archiving for Microsoft 365, and automated playbooks for responding to EDR/XDR incidents. Thanks to the latest innovations, MSP providers can offer their existing and future customers a broad range of cyber protection services that minimize cyber risks and ensure compliance with regulations and directives – such as NIS 2.

Key innovations include:

  • Acronis Copilot enables more efficient and faster security operations. The Acronis Copilot GenAI assistant from Acronis enables MSP technicians with limited security skills to respond to incidents efficiently and quickly. It also simplifies the work of highly skilled technicians and allows them to focus on strategic tasks. Copilot enables MSP staff to investigate, respond to, and mitigate risks within minutes, solely through a conversational user interface with the GenAI assistant.
  • SaaS email archiving for Microsoft 365 (early access). It simplifies email eDiscovery and regulatory compliance for clients of all sizes. Designed for MSP providers, this service offers powerful search, flexible retention, and legal hold capabilities for legal or audit purposes, with fast self-service user access. With this release, MSPs can now provide complete, natively integrated data protection for Microsoft 365, including backup and recovery, email security, collaboration application security, and email archiving through a single interface.
  • Moving from manual response to faster automated playbooks. Partners can now automate responses to XDR and EDR incidents. This enables them to scale security operations and reduce response times while lowering the operational burden associated with managing security incidents. They can easily create automated workflows that trigger a specific response based on specific conditions. The use of automation also supports the business growth of MSP providers and further reduces the costs associated with scaling teams to support a larger number of clients or IT infrastructures.
  • Support for S3 storage. Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud now natively supports any publicly and privately hosted S3-compatible storage for backups, eliminating the need for additional gateway devices. Compatibility with the AWS S3 API has been tested with MinIO, Cloudian, Backblaze B2, Impossible Cloud, and Acronis Cyber Infrastructure. It also enhances backup security through support for storing backups on any S3-compatible storage with Object Lock, which ensures data immutability. This feature protects against ransomware and cyberattacks and ensures compliance with a range of regulations by preventing tampering and accidental or intentional deletion.
  • Okta integration. It simplifies access management through single sign-on (SSO) and automated user provisioning into Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud via the Okta identity management system. It offers automated provisioning, deprovisioning, and synchronization of user accounts and attributes, as well as sign-in using universal credentials through Okta SSO.

“For the third consecutive year, Acronis has been named the best B2B software on the Czech and Slovak markets in this year’s vote by local IT and MSP resellers,” said Štěpán Bínek, Cloud Solutions Sales Manager for Acronis at ZEBRA SYSTEMS. “Our partners appreciate not only the efficient and user-friendly interface, but also the continuous enhancement of the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud platform with new services that respond quickly to the needs and requirements of end customers.”
