PRAGUE, May 9, 2018 – GFI Software,a provider of enterprise network security solutions, announced that Ventos, a provider of products and services in the HVAC industry, is successfully using Kerio Control and Kerio Connect solutions to ensure the security of its IT infrastructure and enable flexible work for employees both in the office and in the field. The solutions were delivered by FiMa, a GFI Software partner on the Czech market.
As a manufacturing company, Ventos processes a large volume of important data that it uses within its IT infrastructure and when communicating with its partners and customers. The operation of the entire company is supported by a virtualized VMware environment, where individual servers and supplementary services run – information technology permeates the entire product cycle, from design through CNC machine programming and production to the actual completion of the order.
With Kerio products, Ventos has significantly increased the level of security of both email communication and IT infrastructure protection. The encrypted VPN network also allows designers and engineers to work from home. Setting up a Kerio VPN tunnel within Kerio Control is very simple, provides high-performance network connectivity, and also enables mobile device connections.
Kerio Connect, in turn, enables users such as sales representatives on the road, supervisors at construction sites, and other employees outside the company headquarters to communicate anytime and from anywhere using a smartphone, tablet, etc. It gives users the option to use a variety of favorite email clients and provides easy access to mail via an intuitive web interface.
