The most widely used service is monitoring of customers' IT infrastructure
PRAGUE, November 10, 2022 – ZEBRA SYSTEMS, distributor of N-able solutions in the Czech and Slovak markets, announced that the number of organizations having their IT infrastructure managed in the form of managed services continues to grow. More than 90% of the IT providers surveyed fully manage IT for at least one customer, while 73% of providers also manage their cloud services in this way. The findings are based on a survey conducted at the ZEBRA Cyber Roadshow conference in October this year.
The largest group of managed service providers (MSPs) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia manages an average of 1 to 5 customers, while another large group consists of MSPs with more than 20 customers. End customers primarily demand services in the areas of infrastructure monitoring, followed by backup & disaster recovery and patching. IT security services and centralized management of cloud services are still somewhat in the background, although on the rise.
The most interesting findings from the survey:
- 30% of IT providers fully manage IT for 1–5 customers, 19% for 6–10 customers, 17% for 11–20 customers, and 25% for more than 20 customers. 9% do not fully manage IT for any customer.
- 37% of IT providers manage customers' cloud services for 1–5 customers, 18% for 6–10 customers, 9% for 11–20 customers, and 9% for more than 20 customers. 27% do not manage cloud services at all.
- 76% of MSPs use monitoring tools for centralized management or automation, 43% use data protection tools, 38% use patch management tools, 36% use centralized security management, and 24% use centralized cloud service management.
“IT security is one of the key areas in service provision, whether from the customer's perspective and the security of their data, or from the provider's perspective and the potential amount of additional work that a security breach can bring. Therefore, it is important to have centrally managed administration and feedback from endpoint protection solutions, whether it is a simple antivirus or EDR/XDR,” said Ondřej Šabata, Sales Engineer for N-able solutions at ZEBRA SYSTEMS. “.”
More information about the capabilities of the N-able EDR endpoint protection solution will be available at this webinar.
